The S2: Small & Self-Publishing Faire is back this spring! Save the date: May 17, 2025, at Bold Coffee & Books, 1755 SW Jefferson St. Portland, OR.

Two Rivers Bookstore and Indigo: Editing, Design, and More are back to bring you the S2: Small & Self-Publishing Faire!

The faire will only be one day this year, featuring vendor tabling, a mixer, and author readings. We will also be holding another Flash Sledgehammer Writing Contest with raffle prizes.

Schedule of Events:

  • 11:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. Author and Press Vendor Tables
  • 4:00–6:00 p.m.  Book Lovers Mixer
  • 6:00–8:30 p.m. Readings

Headliner speakers and readers include Wendy Shih, Elizabeth Mitchell, and Dr. Renee Mitchell!

Come discover fellow Portland creatives’ latest works, be inspired by their entrepreneurship, and build your 2025 reading list with local authors!

All readings and books launches are free and open to the public. Once a proposal is approved, to reserve a date, we ask for a $50 deposit to hold the date for you and guarantee a minimum of $50 in sales. Once sales during your event—books, coffee, wine, beer, food, or anything else—exceed $50, you get that deposit back. So invite your crowd, and we'll bring ours, and everybody wins!
