The new PDX Poetry Club meets once a month, just for poetry! Poems, poetry, reading poetry aloud, listening to others’ interpretation you never even thought of, then sometimes smacking your own forehead. We got it all. Classic poetry, modern poetry, themed poetry, and what else? Who knows!

All readings and books launches are free and open to the public. Once a proposal is approved, to reserve a date, we ask for a $50 deposit to hold the date for you and guarantee a minimum of $50 in sales. Once sales during your event—books, coffee, wine, beer, food, or anything else—exceed $50, you get that deposit back. So invite your crowd, and we'll bring ours, and everybody wins!
