Children’s Storytime with Dawn Babb Prochovnic, Lucy’s Blooms
BOLD is thrilled to host a special children’s storytime with Dawn Babb Prochovnic, author of Lucy’s Blooms.
Join award-winning author, Dawn Babb Prochovnic, for a special garden-themed story time featuring her latest book, Lucy’s Blooms, a multigenerational story about a young girl who learns from her grandmother about the enduring nature of love, the strength in rejecting labels, and the wisdom in standing with those who are different. In this lively, interactive story time we’ll sing songs, learn themed American Sign Language vocabulary, make rain, and plant a seed for your own garden!
Dawn will be available after the story time to answer questions and autograph books. All ages welcome. Bring the whole family for a perfect start to your Mother’s Day weekend.
Dawn Babb Prochovnic has devoted her life’s work to initiatives that support the literary arts including early literacy enrichment programs; school author visits; writing workshops; and her educational blog. Dawn is a Walt Morey Award recipient and the author of over 20 children’s books, including her latest title, Lucy’s Blooms.
Arrive at 10:00 a.m. to get a drink, snack, and seat. Storytime begins at 10:20 a.m.

Once a proposal is approved, to reserve a date, we ask for a $50 deposit to hold the date for you and guarantee a minimum of $50 in sales. Once sales during your event—books, coffee, wine, beer, food, or anything else—exceed $50, you get that deposit back. So invite your crowd, and we'll bring ours, and everybody wins!
