Children’s Storytime with Author Cherise Arthur
Join the BOLD community for a children’s storytime with author Cherise Arthur! Sierra loves horses more than anything in the world. She spends time at the barn next door and rides the neighbors pony Stormy.
On the morning of her 8th birthday, her parents tell her to go out on the front lawn. She sees the most beautiful red pony with a milky white star on her forehead. Bella is a very curious and fun little girl who loves spending time in nature. She goes with her parents for a day of bird watching in the Wistman’s Woods. She turns as her parents are admiring the beautiful birds in the trees. She sees the most magical light on the path that leads into the woods. She walks away from them and finds herself in a magical place in the woods. She is greeted by a very grumpy pixie. The pixie is a trickster and sends her the wrong way deeper into the woods. She knows she is lost and must find her way out of the woods and reunite with her parents.
Join Bella in her magical and extraordinary adventures in the Wistman’s Woods where she meets a magical herd of Dartmoor ponies, a chatty owl, singing mice, butterflies, and the beautiful Queen Lillian. A beautifully illustrated adventure.

Cherise Arthur is a native of Oregon. She loves writing, reading, riding horses, traveling and spending time with friends and family. She loves researching and is in the process of writing her next book and finding interesting people to work with on her book projects. She is currently selling Sierra and Star on Amazon/Kindle and Audible. A beautifully illustrated story by Marian Gorin, Sierra and Star is written for early readers and will be a book that your kids will enjoy. Her new book Bella and the Queen’s Ponies illustrated by Kathrynn Parris is a story about a little girl and her magical adventure with a herd of Dartmoor ponies.
