Bold & Unbound Art Showing

Join us for an inspiring art showing!
Over the past few months, we have been inspired by the artwork displayed at BOLD Coffee & Books courtesy of Past Lives Prison Outreach Guild (POG) and the talented artists inside Oregon state prisons who have sent their artwork to be purchased and enjoyed by the outside community.
If you had all the time in the world, what would you draw? Paint? What would you say on paper or canvas? If you were behind bars, what aches would you process? What dreams would you manifest?
For this art showing, we will bring the pieces down from the book wall so you can view them up close and personal. All pieces are for sale, and 80% of the sales go to the commissary account of the artist, the other 20% goes to POG to fund the volunteer-led guild. Venmo, cash, or check accepted.
Join us to view the art, try your hand at coffee painting, and enter to win prizes. Deb from the Prison Outreach Guild will be on-site to share more-than-meets-the-eye details about the pieces, and BOLD will offer $1 off all wine, cider, and beer for the event.

All readings and books launches are free and open to the public. Once a proposal is approved, to reserve a date, we ask for a $50 deposit to hold the date for you and guarantee a minimum of $50 in sales. Once sales during your event—books, coffee, wine, beer, food, or anything else—exceed $50, you get that deposit back. So invite your crowd, and we'll bring ours, and everybody wins!
