Birthday Party for Quince, Rose, Grace of God by Trina Gaynon

August 30 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
Free
8.30 Lscape Trina Gaynonbdayparty

BOLD is thrilled to host a birthday party for Quince, Rose, Grace of God, a book of poetry by Trina Gaynon.

In the beginning there was a newborn book, Quince, Rose, Grace of God, with an inexperienced author. The year that followed proved challenging. In that time, Trina Gaynon came to realize how much she relies on the community around her. Now that the book has made it through their first year, she would like to host a celebration of the book and the creative community in Portland at BOLD Coffee and Books. Consider yourself invited to a birthday party with cake and an open reading. Consider sharing your own work and a poem that influenced the writer you became.

After forty years in California, Trina Gaynon moved to Portland, Oregon. She leads a poetry reading group and writing salon at Senior Studies Institute. Recent publications: Poetry East; the anthology, The Grace of Oregon Rain; a chapbook, An Alphabet of Romance; and her book, Quince, Rose, Grace of God.

Arrive at 6:30 p.m. to grab a snack or drink. The event will start at 7:00 p.m.
